Halloween Week

This Halloween was a dream with the warm weather we had.  We took a few golf carts in a caravan to trick or treat with our friends the Romney's and Hartsfield's after dinner at our house.  Cy got scared a few times at some spooky homes but "danced it off" when we found more "joyful" houses...the full candy bars helped ease the pain too!
Esti and Cy (who was an "Inja")
Mads and her girlfriends before the Monster Mash dance (looking a little too grown up for moms taste)
We took the youth in our ward (6:45 AM) to do yard work on temple square. Great kids!
We got our first snowfall for the year which amazed little Esti
My kids are obsessed with the floss that has powder on it.  It's like a treat for them, and we've gone through 2 cases this week.
Mike and I attended a grown ups only party hosted by our wonderful friends, the Hartsfields
Jen made the most incredible dinner and desserts...definitely putting me to shame

Madison's been having a great school year.  She's won several Debate, DECA, and FBLA competitions and seems to have a real talent for advertisting.  Maybe she'll be the female Don Draper of her time!

Enjoying October

Our family has had so much fun strolling on our lane, hiking in the mountains, camping with friends and breathing in Fall.
Our beautiful street

The Big Gender Reveal!  Blue frosting inside says it's a BOY (due in March)!!!!
Cy screaming to Esti that he "knew" it was a boy all along

Esti 19 months old

Esti is such a joy in our life and incredibly good natured.  She has a good sense of humor, is a total sport, always happy, and even asks for nap and bedtime.  She loves to playfully fight with Cy and never backs down, she will push till she gets her way but is strangely a lovely kid despite her persistence.  She also loves to dance and "talk" on the cell with Madison.

Last week Esti climbed up the counter and got into the butter.  She would alternate eating and massaging each handful into her hair. I kept trying to tell her how naughty she was only to have her laugh and look with pleasure at the work she had done.

 Sucking on homemade pops
 Sweet pouty face
Esti loves to dance, even if she's in her car seat

Fall Sports

Cy started a little weekly sports program and is loving T-Ball and Soccer.  He is trying so hard and loves to connect with his Dad and his passion for football.  Cy is almost in tears if their team isn't winning and is enthusiastic about sports finally!

Cy feeling like a sports hero...he wouldn't keep a normal face or pose no matter how much I asked
He adores Madison and always wants to hang with the "teenagers" and sleep in her bed.  The other day he was telling her that she makes "beautiful music and sings like a ballet rock star" (not sure what that means, but it was sweet)
Cy refused to take a serious picture and kept winking at me during every shot, what a Romeo
He finally got serious after I told him to look like his Dad
Cy wanted to be "Michael" one morning and chose his entire wardrobe to look just like Dad...he even insisted I put a beard on him and take a photo where he made a "Mike face"
 Intense
